On 4 December 2025 Arthur Appleton was invited to discuss the economic implications of WTO Membership for Uzbekistan at a meeting of Uzbekistan's Liberal Democratic Party (UzLiDeP). This two hour meeting brought together business leaders and officials interested in discussing the economic opportunities and implications of Uzbekistan's forthcoming WTO accession.
