EU Law

Appleton Luff provides advice to governments and businesses in the entire range of European Law, particularly economic and trade law: the common customs regime, the Common Agricultural Policy, trade remedies, competition law, and the four freedoms (goods, services, persons and capital).

We handle cases before the European Court of Justice and under the various administrative procedures provided by European trade and competition policies. We have profound knowledge of the European institutions, their institutional mechanisms, and their "corporate culture".

David Luff has been training officials of DG Trade on trade policy and the institutional aspects of policy-making in the EU for more than five years. He has been working on cases involving the European Institutions for more than fifteen years. He has been handling cases at partner level since the year 2000.
